Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Lishui Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports that, in celebration of the 15th “China Tourism Day”, Lishui has launched a well-curated “Cultural Tourism Benefit Package” under the theme of mountains and waters. The package includes over 30 benefit-oriented activities such as free or discounted admission to scenic spots, themed experiences, and consumption discounts, offering citizens and tourists an immersive cultural and tourism feast.

During the event period, major scenic areas and attractions in Lishui are offering ticket discounts. On May 19, scenic areas such as Penal Colony Scenic Area in Liandu District, Dongxiyan Scenic Area, Kowloon National Wetland Park, Shimen Cave, Qiansiyan, Yunzhong Daji, East Lane Ancient Village, Dolomite, and Longquan Celadon Town will offer free admission. From May 18 to 19, East China Medicinal Botanical Garden will offer free entry and host the “Discover Lishui’s Nine Flavors and Recognize Herbs by Their Scents” activity, where visitors can explore the Medicinal Valley, search for nine distinct flavors, identify medicinal herbs, and win commemorative badges. Suichang Gold Mine National Mine Park will also offer free admission for three consecutive days from May 17 to 19, inviting tourists to explore the “world’s only living thousand-year-old gold mine”.

On May 19, Songyang County will launch a themed campaign titled “Let’s ‘Tang’ Songyang”, inviting influencers on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) to explore the area. Citizens and tourists can stroll through cobbled alleys and encounter floral exhibitions; visit the “Contract Museum” to interpret the millennia-old rural culture; and enjoy performances of the intangible cultural heritage “Songyang Gaoqiang Opera”, experiencing the unique charm of cultural villages. In addition, from May 10 to December 31, Yanqing Temple Pagoda and Huangjia Courtyard will offer a “One Ticket, Double Benefit” promotion—each ticket purchase comes with an equivalent-value consumption voucher, enabling a more in-depth tourism experience.

From May 19 to September 30, Yunhe County will launch the “Fairy Tale Yunhe—A Gift for the World” campaign for international visitors. Foreign tourists presenting a valid passport can receive a cultural tourism gift package and enjoy discounts at scenic areas, hotels, homestays, cafes, and shops across Yunhe County. Starting May 20, Qingtian County will issue RMB 100 accommodation vouchers (limited to designated merchants) and RMB 50 consumption vouchers via the CCB Life App to non-local university students visiting Qingtian. These can be used for lodging, scenic attractions, and selected merchants, helping young people explore the charm of the “Hometown of Overseas Chinese”.

Many cultural and tourism enterprises have also launched special offers. In Suichang, 21 lodging providers and “Hundred Counties, Thousand Dishes” experience stores have jointly launched the “Drink, Stay, and Taste Jianghu” campaign. Visitors booking a “Room + San Cenglou Hot Pot” combo via OTA platforms will receive a free San Cenglou hot pot set. The event runs through May 31.
